The objective of this study was to investigate 4 push factors for community economy: human resource development, development of community groups and organizations, development of basic community economy, and physical development of the community. These factors affect the allocations of excess profit for the community in 4 areas: education, community assistance, infrastructure construction, and conservation of natural resources. The main focus of this study was on successful career groups in 6 provinces of northeastern Thailand: Nakhon Ratchasima, Ubon Ratchathani, Surin, Khon Kaen, Udon Thani, and Loei. Simple sampling technique was used with 408 samples from 136 career groups, and the questionnaires were administered to collect data, which were quantitatively analyzed by Multiple Regression whereas the independent variables were chosen by stepwise technique. Results of the study indicated that human resource development factor affected allocations of excess profit for the community in education and infrastructure construction the most, at 0.320 and 0.304, respectively; physical development of the community also affected allocations of the excess profit for the community in conservation of natural resources and infrastructure construction the most, at 0.434 and 0. 321, respectively. |
