The research aimed to study the consumption function of rural community’s households in Northeastern, Thailand. The main focus of this study was on rural community households of 4 provinces in northeastern Thailand: Nakhon Ratchasima, Khon Kaen, Sisaket, and Kalasin. Simple sampling technique was used to arrive at 400 samples, and a questionnaire was administered to collect data, which were analyzed by both qualitative and quantitative analysis methods. The descriptive statistics used in data analysis was based on the commutative frequency for percentage, mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the households’ income from their farm and asset owner had impact on the households’ consumption expenditure at 0.135, and 0.1116, respectively. However, the households’ non-farm income was not effect on consumption expenditure.
