This study on the Sector of Manufacturing, Trading and Services Affecting Gross Domestic Product in Thailand aimed to determine the rate of change of revenue from agriculture and non-agriculture sectors that affect the rate of change in Gross Domestic Product; and to study the rate of change of revenue from the industry, trade and services that have the impact on changes in revenue outside agriculture. Secondary data were collected from the Office of National Economic and Social Development Board covering the GDP, revenue from and outside agriculture, industry revenue, and trade and services revenue. The data collected during the years 1995 - 2013 were analyzed with statistical quantitative equation of Simple and Multiple Regression of which the results showed that the rate of change of revenue outside agriculture was directly affected to the Gross Domestic Product of Thailand more than the revenue from agriculture. It also found that the rate of revenue change from industry, trade and services have a direct effect on the rate of change in non-farming revenue. So Thailand should have a policy to encourage investment in the industry, trade and services, especially small and medium enterprises for even more. Since small and medium-sized enterprises are a key source of employment, public policies should be implemented as soon as possible. |
