ABSTRACT
This study was predicted the bachelor of science in Nursing Achievement which the natural Science Test Scores were used.316 graduated from faculty of Nursing,Khonkaen university during academic year 1978-81. The Natural Science Test Scores were used as the predictors. The grade point average of the whole curriculum was the criteria .The analyses of data were done as following ; Pearson’s product moment correlation, multiple correlation,F-test and stepwise multiple regression.
The results were :
1. In academic year 1978,the highly effective predictor of the graduates achievement were the overall test scores of General Chemistry,Basic physics I, Correlated systematic Basic Medical Science,Pharmacology for Nurses I , Nutrition and Nutrition in Health and Diseases.
2. In academic year 1979,the highly effective predictor of the graduates achievement were the overall test scores of General Chemistry,Microbiology and Parasitology,Pharmacology for Nurses I, Biostatistics for nurses,Nutrition and Nutrition in Health and Diseases.
3. In academic year 1980 ,the highly effective predictor of the graduates achievement were the overall test scores of Correlated Systematic Basic Medical Science I,II.,Microbiology and parasitology, Biostatistics for Nurses and Nutrition in Health and Diseases.
4. In academic year 1981,the highly effective predictor of the graduates achievement were the overall test scores of correlated Systematic Basic Medical science I,Pathology,Pharmacology for Nurses II,Biostatistics for Nurses,Nutrition and Nutrition in Health and Diseases.
The multiple correlation of each academic year was 0.8870,0.8932,0.9148 and 0.8822 respectively.
